How can Levitra help me deal with erectile dysfunction?
Erectile dysfunction is a medical condition that can affect a man’s life like no other medical condition. I know this myself as I am one of those men. In fact, this is one of the reasons why I started writing on this blogsite. I have had problems with my ED for a long, long time. It was sometime in the early 1990s that I discovered that I have troubles achieving erections and by the year 1993 it was virtually impossible for me to keep an erection long enough to have proper sexual intercourse. I visited my physician and he told me that in my case, erectile dysfunction was caused by high blood pressure. However, in 1998, Viagra came out. Of course I was excited very much, but then all those warnings began appearing how Viagra is dangerous and all that. Luckily I trusted my doctor enough to give it a try and I started taking it, the first FDA-approved medication out there. It did wonders. Its PDE5 inhibiting properties made it possible for me to get erections and my life turned around.
Then, in 2003, Levitra came out as the second FDA-approved ED pill and I asked my doctor if I should switch. He told me that I could if I wanted, as Levitra starts working more quickly and it lasts longer. Also, it lacks some side effects that Viagra is known to cause. So, I switched to Levitra and I immediately noticed the difference. I could now take my ED pill within half an hour of intercourse rather than more than an hour before, which made it easier to be spontaneous with my missus. I also began to enjoy my sex life more and my relationship with my wife improved almost instantaneously. The biggest toll on a man’s life the ED does on a psychological level and with Levitra, I began almost to ignore my erectile dysfunction, as it no longer had any hold over me.
